The XenonPro.com Scholarship

Description

The XenonPro.com Scholarship is a unique private scholarship for young women looking to make a big difference in the world, regardless of their field of study. Starting in September 2019, the scholarship will be awarded to 3 exceptional female high school students in an effort to encourage academic excellence through college/university and to help these future leaders reach their full potential early on in their careers.

Awards

The XenonPro.com Scholarship will be awarded to the three brightest young ladies as judged by our panel of independent judges. The funding will be distributed in a tiered system as follows:

• 1st place: $10,000
• 2nd place: $5,000
• 3rd place: $2,500

The funding is fully independent and not contingent of any other public or private scholarship program, financial aid program or expected family contributions. Students do not need to be Pell-eligible to receive funding from the XenonPro.com Scholarship program.

Eligibility

To apply and be eligible* to receive funding from the XenonPro.com Scholarship, students must be:

• A female
• Graduating from accredited high school no later than the summer of 2020.
• On track to begin college/university from an accredited institution in the fall of 2020.
• Enrolling full-time in a four-year program.
• A U.S. or Canadian citizen, national, permanent residence or have an eligible student visa for the duration of college or university by the time winners are announced.

*Candidates that fail to meet all of the above requirements will be automatically disqualified.

Ideal Candidates

Our scholarship was designed to help the most ambitious women make a big impact on our rapidly evolving and challenge-packed world. Our ideal candidates will have:

• Exceptional school high record, ranking in the top 5% of her graduating class
• Outstanding leadership potential as showcased by public speaking, extracurricular activities, sports, volunteering and community service.
• Determined to make a big difference in the world
• Superior level of maturity, perseverance, motivation, and drive

Essay Questions

This year, we are offering a choice of three essay questions touching three different topics (Politics, Environment, and Technology) for students to answer. Students must only pick one (1) question to answer. The answer should be in essay format and between 750 to 2500 words. The three (3) question options are as follows:

1. If you were the next president of the United States, what would at the top of your political agenda and why?
2. What changes would you make to developed societies and economies to make the world greener?
3. How would you leverage Blockchain or Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to make the world a better place?
